We have had mastiffs since the year 2000. We
acquired our first mastiff, Lizzie, as a pet only. She was so
incredible that we looked for her a companion only weeks later.
We stumbled upon a 5 month old female that needed a home. Her
breeders raved about her pedigree and her parents being
Champions. We only were looking for another pet, we had no
interest in showing or breeding. Once we got home with our new
girl, Lexi, we started doing a lot of research on the internet
on mastiffs and their history and noticed that our girl was
beautiful and resembled top winning mastiffs.
We contacted her
breeder and upgraded our registration to full by paying more
money and started showing her at age 10 months. She was a joy
to show and absolutely loved it. She finished her Championship
easily with 3 majors that she won at very large shows. Two were
in Palm Springs and one in Yuma Arizona. We decided to breed
her and searched hard for a perfect mate.
We bred her to Ch.Regal Hills Sudden Impact and got 7 beautiful babies. We
kept 2 for ourselves (Tilly and
Sarge). They are my pride
and joy and I have worked hard to obtain their Championship.
I am so close on both, they each only need majors to be
finished, and they both placed at the national specialty in 2003 with me
handling them. I got a first class education on handling from a
terrific handler named Lenard Clayton who I think of often.
We
live on 10 acres in middle Tennessee where we currently own 9
mastiffs. We breed seldom and selectively and breed to better
the breed. I breed for temperament first and size and soundness
second.
We have 2 very large boys who are our stud dogs.
Sarge
who is 2 1/2 and weighs in at 272 true lbs. and
Diesel who
weighs in at 245.
Our mastiffs are raised in the house as
family members and live along side us. We encourage all people
interested in our puppies to visit our home and meet our herd.
We are very proud of all our dogs and have several who are just
our pets and are not of breeding quality. All of our puppies
are genetically clear of PRA.
I stand behind our puppies and
hope to have a lasting relationship with any one who acquires a
puppy from us and always welcome pictures and updates. I am
also readily available for people who just are inquiring about a
mastiff and need some info.
